City Road and Montrose Ave? Help please.
<t>Still buzzing from the match at the weekend. The feeling just gets better each day at the moment. The first time we've seen us win the World Club Challenge. My partner's first ever match was the loss to Brisbane at Central Park, I only became a fan two years before that. Never thought I'd see the...

Re: Liam Forsyth
Thanks for the comments, both our lads seem to be very promising. Experience at Swinton will bring them on much quicker than having to wait around for the odd reserve fixture.

Liam Forsyth
<t>I've just seen that Liam was man of the match for Swinton yesterday. A great start for the young lad. I'm sure he'll really benefit from playing some games at this level. Does anyone have any further details e.g. did he play centre of wing? I'm assuming that we can call him back if we need him la...

Re: Looks like Sam Powell as starting hooker this season
<t>I think that, when fit, both Mickey and Sam can play for 80 mins. Playing two does give some variety but the main reason why I think Waney spells them is, that over a prolonged period, playing hooker for 80 mins cuases lots of wear and tear and by the end of the season (if they make it that far) ...

Looks like Sam Powell as starting hooker this season
<t>Disappointing news about Mickey Mac missing at least the first few weeks of the season and I hope it doesn't drag on much longer. It must be very frustrating but his welfare has to come first. At least we have Sam in place having played so well last season. With that experience under his belt I'm...

Have we raided Bradford for anyone?
<t>Much as I feel sorry for the plight of Bradford, I've noticed that several of their players have been snapped up by other clubs (noticeably Huddersfield). Although I don't think any of their first team would interest us there must be some promising youngsters that are now out of contract. Does an...

Re: Test match in Avignon
Compared to the props we have you'd have to rate him as a work in progress. On a level with Bretherton? but not as accomplished as Crosby. Not very big either. He's young and clearly a Wane project. He must see something that I don't but that's why he's the coach and I'm just a fan.

Re: Williams to Wire
<t>I really don't think that we'll let George go to wire but don't worry everybody because I've informed the club that I'm not renewing my season ticket (or those of the rest of my family) until the club confirms that George isn't going anywhere. I'm sure that Mr Lenagan can't take the financial hit...
