Re: Wane to go
<t>I don't contribute very often to this forum discussion but, like many enjoy reading how other fans perceive our club. I find it very difficult to understand how some think SW is doing a bad job, even to the extent of calling the type of game we play "wane ball". What does that even mean? SW took ...

Re: Tomkins to play for Barbarians?
<t>There are many good points to this! Publicity for rugby league, the club, publicity for sam and of course the chance for a 22 yr old lad to play at twickenham vs Australia! As a Wigan fan I can't think of anything better than watching sam, in his Wigan socks scoring a try at the home of the rfu. ...

Re: Hock and Farrell.
<t>might aswell add my opinion:<br/> <br/> Hock - just not up to speed at the moment but will get there (perhaps a couple of full u20s games)<br/> <br/> Farrel - Good young player, will b great just needs a confidence boost and a run of games<br/> <br/> Tomkins & Charnley - need to get an unders...

Re: unsang hero
I agree deacon does make us tick (very good yesterday) and was a very good signing. However i think the true unsung hero from yesterday and possibly the season has to be Coley. Week in week out he puts in an excellent shift and yesterday he was fantastic! Mr Coley.................Take a bow

Re: Paul Deacon
<t>Deacon would be a clever signing if the reports on skysports website are correct. he will give experienced cover at halfback which would allow tl to play at hooker if needed, he has a decent passing and kicking game and if he is going to be given a coaching role aswell he wont take up much of the...

Re: No new signings for 2010 thus far - WEP
<t>Maybe IL should concentrate on signing up a coach for next season first. Whether its Noble or not.<br/> How can you expect to sign a top quality player if you cant tell him who will be his coach? (remember a big reason we got Barret was because he knew Millward - who at the time seemed a good coa...

Re: Cameron's contract
<t>phelps is obviously a very talented player who can play in a few positions (even played hooker in a game last year)is obviously not on mega money - "We have had our eye on Cameron for a number of months as an inexpensive young player with speed and agility who can add competition for places in ou...
