Re: Havard ruled out for eight weeks

I'm certainly no expert but a while ago when Liverpool FC had a spate of hamstring and groin injuries, they traced it back to the surfaces that training took place on. Things have moved on since then and my case is nothing like a professional player but the only hamstring and groin problems I had wa...

Re: Challenge Cup 2023

If I was being unkind, I'd say that Zak Hardaker put more effort into that game than in his whole time with us!
Still glad that the horrible Mikey Lewis missed out - he was up to his usual tricks for most of yesterday. Shame, when there's some obvious talent hidden by all his shithousery.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR

I don't care about HKR, except to hope that the horrible play-actor Lewis doesn't win the Cup. It would help us considerably to have a massive win and that's all that really matters.

Re: Oliver Gildart to join Hull KR's Challenge Cup Final opponents in shock move

I wish him well. He was (until the last bit of his last season with us) a player who I loved to watch. It's possible that he never really recovered from that crusher tackle from the unspeakable Brett Ferres.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR

I think the best way that we could respond is to score a shedload of points and put points difference to bed for the rest of the season.

Re: Wigan Squad

As we are going to keep him in the halves (I assume) - it will be in training: So, Work hard to improve his passing. Harry Smith did it, so it can be done. Be more decisive in attack - you could see other players pulling up unsure of what was about to happen today. Work on a series of planned attack...

Re: Wigan Squad

Don’t know what Game you watch S.S. But I thought that was French’s best game at stand off Yet ! He looked far from lost and seemed to be having a ball . He may have been having a ball but none of the other players seemed to know what he was thinking. He ran into cul-de-sacs a lot - was indecisive ...

Re: Wigan Squad

If that 'tackle' by Asiata was what he has been doing in recent matches, then Wellens has a point. It was not only reckless but was like a flying shoulder-charge with the only intention of stopping an opponent by any means. Needs to be looked at by the RL Disciplinary (Spoiler Alert - it won't.) A g...

Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread

Well, for what it's worth: We didn't play that well and most of the things that haven't looked right continued to do so. French creates nothing from the halves Field is better at full-back Byrne was limp and KPP did a better job at prop Mago is still a liability and so on and so on. However, you jus...
