Re: Patrick Mago: Off-field improvements impacting on-field performances for Wigan Warriors prop
Interesting that he mentions church, like he's on the straight and narrow path again. Good for him. It makes me think of the many Christian players we've had, such as Inga, Billy Whizz, Bill Ashurst, Shaun Edwards. I'm sure that the direction from their faith helped some, at least, to be better pla...

Re: RFL Disciplinary
Players acting like footballers Mikey Lewis comes to mind (semi final last year). Good player but a total grub. EW Yes. Expect more of this type of thing. The Cas (scrum half I think) who went down holding his face for example  Teams will do anything they can to gain an advantage, however sma...

Re: Wigan squad for Castleford (R1)
I guess we’ll soon find out. Left to their own devices I wouldn’t trust the RFL to tie their own shoelaces. However, the game has been marketed heavily on Sky. It’s not a “regular “ game. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone from Sky has had a word. Sadly the game we have grown up with is no more. We ha...

Re: Wigan squad for Castleford (R1)
Points on the board, but an expensive knight potentially losing Thompson,Leeming,Smith for next week and Field looked a bit iffy at the end. Kicking is better than this time last year. It would have been criminal to let him leave. Not a chance in hell they will ban Smith. If it was a regular round,...

Re: Warriors launch 2024 World Club Challenge shirt
Was just about to post the same.
Great shirt and echos of 1985. However, the huge green logo in the middle means it's a "no" from me.

Re: Season ahead thoughts
I have said it before but I honestly believe this is Wigan's season to lose. None of the other teams look to have improved as much as us. In fact, bar Saints, I cannot think of a single team that will challenge this year. I appreciate some may think this is arrogance, and I may well be proven wrong....

Re: Garry Schofield Column; my prediction for Wigan Warriors Super League 2024
Wow. Even Garry thinks we’re the best team. When he says he didn’t like everything we did in the 90s, I assume he means stopping him winning any trophies whatsoever Not signing him  Exactly this. He thought he was the best GB player of the era..........and Wigan didn't sign him. He has been bi...

Re: SuperLeague+ Launched
What it does clear up, and this is not made clear in the RFL release, is that there would appear to be 2 matches that are ONLY available on Sky each week. So I read it as there will be 2 matches that are only available LIVE on Sky each week - 106 games are live on the service, with the remaining 61...

Re: Super League streaming platform launch date and name confirmed as new era arrives
if i'm reading it right it seems like decent value watch all games live for £120 (or £99 if you are a season ticket holder) with some caveats with 60 or so not being available to stream live, but on demand afterwards - i'd assume these may be the main games on sky coverage?? (although they were sup...
