Re: What team for the first game?

I hope that George Burgess and Clubby have been doing lots of running during their 'break'. With the six again rule, the game is faster than ever and I can't see them lasting for more than two stints of 15mins either side of half time. I'm sure we'll not see them both on the pitch at the same time. ...

Best for the Warriors?

The problems at Wigan Athletic are very sad for all concerned and obviously I have great sympathy for anybody who has lost their job. I also wish them all the best with the decision on the twelve point deduction. As a Warriors fan rather than a football fan I can't decide if it would be better for t...

Football wages - wow!

Just seen the list of wage bills for Wigan Athletic from 2010-2019 on the Wigan Today site. Ranging from 43.7 million £ down to 11.9 and then back up to 19.4 million £). I appreciate that when they were in the Premiership and receiving huge TV money, their relatively low wage bill may have been sust...

Re: Back in full training yet?

Glad to see that the players are being tested tomorrow. Does anybody know the details of why our players and the club have not agreed a pay deal yet?

Re: Cowboys v Roosters

I thought Lachlan did well considering this was his first game of the season. Played 60 mins at hooker as replacement for Friend. He made a couple of mistakes but made lots of tackles, his ball distribution was good and made a decent break. The Roosters have a few injuries at present so it will be i...

Re: Warriors looking to acquire Latics

Well done to IL for trying to save the lactics but I really don't feel that the warriors will benefit in any way. I always assumed that the football team having first call on the pitch etc was a result of the requirements of the football league rather than the specific owners of the club. I'd be ple...

Back in full training yet?

Does anybody know if the warriors have a date to start full training yet? I've just read an article that implies that only three super league clubs have agreed an acceptable wage cut with their players. Out of these three, Hull FC seem to have agreed to get the players back by the twentieth of this ...

Great to see Ricky Stuart whinging like a baby about JB's agent. Nobody whinges like an aussie.
