Re: Charnley set for Debut
<t>Ben Te'o has been playing for Leinster for a couple of seasons now and going well playing at Centre. Joined Worcester this season so Jones obviously wants a look. Apparently his mother has "English Heritage".......<br/> <br/> To update on the Sale game next friday, they've got a Ticket and Pint o...

Re: Charnley set for Debut
<t>Totally agree. When the Anglo-Welsh Cup games aren't on, get him to somewhere like Fylde, Sedgley Park, Hoppers or even Sale FC. He'll be playing a good standard well away from the media spotlight.<br/> <br/> Rather than what they did with Burgess throwing him into an England Saxons game where he...

Re: Charnley set for Debut
<t>Handled well (like they did Jason Robinson), and I think he could be a massive success. Keep him well away from the England setup until he's absolutely ready. We've seen with Sam Burgess that the Prawn Sandwich boys will be very quick to heap the blame for anything that goes wrong his way.<br/> <...

Re: 2021 World Cup
<t>Why would nobody go an watch it? Marketed properly with a good ticketing strategy then it would have every chance. A couple of posters and $60 a ticket then you're right nobody would go. I'd certainly go over for it.<br/> <br/> People keep on about looking to expand the game but then we keep it e...

2021 World Cup
<t>World cup to be held in England in 2021, Whilst i'm happy in the fact that the games will once again be on our doorstep, I can't help but think we've missed a golden opportunity to showcase our game across the pond.<br/> <br/> Since being awarded the 2019 Rugby Union World cup, Japan has gone Rug...

Charnley set for Debut
<t>Not sure where to put this topic given he's not one of ours now, but Josh is set to make his Sale debut next Friday night at home to Wasps in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Suspected they'd put him in the AW cup to start with, They play it on the same weekend as the Internationals so the big boys tend to b...

Re: Not done yet
Escare confirmed then. Can't help but think he's anything more than a back up as 1, 2 and 5 will be Sam T, Dom and Budgie.
That said Sam looked a lot more like a man with a Broken ankle than a bloke with a sore foot on Saturday evening. Despite things being said to the contrary.

Not done yet
Apparently we're not done yet in the transfer market today. Is this confirming one of the ones we know about or is there a surprise up Mr Lenegans sleeve.
Anyone spot Johnathan Thurston at Manchester airport this morning? That would be nice!!

Re: AMAZING
<t>Perhaps I should clarify, The criticism Sam p received was last season and prior to the Micky mac injury. Often coupled with people saying he should be shipped off so that Ryan Hampshire gets the opportunities he was getting. This season since he has been 1st choice hooker, he has rightly receive...

Re: AMAZING
<t>Can't help but think that particularly with our injury list, we've got this season spot on. OK some of our play has not been spectacular. We haven't been walloping teams by 40-50 points. We've been doing just enough and no more to win games. We hit form at the right time in the season. When all t...
