Didn't go today and so not sure how the performance was, but considering a virtually untried, youthful side, then an excellent result at a difficult place to visit, especially as Rovers fielded a virtual first choice selection.
A good and promising start.

Re: Sam is Player of the Year
Well deserved imo, for his sheer talent, drive & matchwinning potential.
Plus having to come through all the stick he's taken - now showing a higher level of professionalism in his game.
And at an age, he can only improve further.

Re: Sonny-Bill Wiiliams
Joel's played once so far, for their reserve grade, at centre.
He touched the ball twice, on one occasion making a try scoring pass out wide for his winger !

<t>PM, can only pick up on a thread that Onedego has hinted at. That is he has a family so perhaps someone from inside his inner-circle should accept some responsibility now for his actions & profer some strong counselling themselves. Blood is thicker than water, they say.<br/> <br/> As for ongo...

<t>Faz virtually single-handedly carried wigan thru' plenty of difficult eras, leading by example, dragging, shouting, cajoling, kicking, passing the side to eventually retain our S/L Status !
