Re: Jai Field

Is His contract not a 4 year deal. After 2 years has option to go but a transfer fee will be required. Sure it's a 4 year deal. Otherwise it would have stated to be same as French signed 2 year deal with a further 2 year option. It specifically states signed 4 year deal.

Re: Season ticket

Got my grand daughters ticket but nothing for me. Surely if all tickets on the same network the system should/could pick that up. Not rocket science.

Re: Season ticket

Disappointed that my physical season ticket won't be ready for Friday but at least the club is providing paper tickets. Two points to make: a) Perhaps they underestimated the number ludites (like myself) asking for physical tickets b) The fact that they've now got to print and send paper tickets th...

Re: Cleary

I pretty sure this won't happen given he's signed a new deal but why would the fee be beyond us? Our new owner could probably afford to by Penrith never mind Cleary if he felt like it. I have no doubt he could. I also have no doubt that he will also have a player budget ceiling . Spending probably ...

Re: Cleary

Sorry but not in million years. Signed a new 5 year contract last season on 1.3 million a year. Penrith fee alone would be behond us before we even consider what his salary would be.

Re: Player of the Match medal to honour Bill Ashurst

I agree, Chariots, but "King Bill" could surely only apply to one player? Bill Ashurst was "Sash" iirc. Btw, I went to school with Jim Brennan, a blond-haired lad from Hindley, who used to lead the chorus at CP with "King Bill, King Bill" with the crowd replying "...

Re: Player of the Match medal to honour Bill Ashurst

Very fitting and a great touch by the club once again. I wish King Bill was lining up in the Cherry and white. I agree, Chariots, but "King Bill" could surely only apply to one player? Bill Ashurst was "Sash" iirc. Btw, I went to school with Jim Brennan, a blond-haired lad from ...
