Re: O’Loughlin hospitalised following eye injury!
Whichever way you look at it Barney you got it wrong. No genuine rugby league supporter wants to see a player retire through injury. Lockers has got a contract for this season and I would like to see him fulfil it and raise a couple of trophies above his head, it would be a fitting way for a legend...

Re: Wigan Warriors Reserves
Manfredi did carry well, but he didn't seem interested in passing at all when he had a couple of opportunities to do so. Agree with the comments about Greenwood, I thought Kilner and Byrne did well, and good cameos from Pearce-Paul and Barron.

Re: Wigan Warriors set for huge injury boost when hosting Hull FC next weekend
[ Greenwood had a hard time fighting his way out of the changing rooms for the reserves and looked uninterested. No way that he is in line for a return. He finished the game which took place in a swamp with an almost clean shirt. I just watched that game, and I thought exactly the same! Escaré hard...

Re: Aussie nines( spoiler alert)
Suppose it's the other side of the coin of having no video ref, but it looked a terrible decision, especially considering there was an in-goal official pretty much on the spot.

Re: Is Lam the real deal or not?
I watched a couple of archive games this week on Wigan TV. One from the Noble era (Deacon in the halves) and one from the Madge era (ST in the halves). Neither produced champagne rugby, but in both cases a game plan was evident, both in attack and defence we looked like we knew what we were doing, b...

What did Shorrocks do? Was it that bad? A shame, he is a very promising player.

Re: Actual squad v Toronto
Watching the Cas game our left edge defence was poor to let in 2 soft tries!! Let's see if Lam is ready to make the necessary changes Well,to be fair, some of that poor defence was down to young Smith. Whether Lam thinks that sacrificing him is one of the necessary changes remains to be seen; I hop...

Re: Joe Bullock back as Adrian Lam reveals Wigan Warriors team plans
Well yeah, i was going to say, not sure how many pre-season games Greenwood played, but when he did, I don't recall him pulling up many trees. And Clark must surely get a game to show what he can do. He's being written off before he's even stepped onto the field! And I'd hesitate to drop Isa too, bu...

Indeed. Bennett's record is no better than McNamara's, in fact you could plausibly argue that's slightly worse.

Re: Why Wigan find it hard to play rugby
The Hull derby was indeed a cracker, which our lumpen effort into stark relief. Cas didn't have to be brilliant, we gifted them field position time and again, and they duly took advantage. Throw in poor discipline and poor execution, and it's a surprise in a way the score-line was as close as it was...
