I like Wilkin as a commentator, grub of a player, but can communicate and explain whats going on, also according to SWMBO "easy on the eye". Kevin Brown is also good at this role and has done a good job when summarising in the past. regarding the commentary, football gets by with a comment...

What does everyone think about the six again rule? The jury is out as far as I’m concerned for very one simple reason, teams tend to hold a player down following a kick into the opponent’s 20 so they can set their defence and restrict metres. The scousers certainly got the right side of the referees calls, Shows that sometimes you need luck to win the big games, and they had the luck when they needed it, maybe time for captains challenge in televised games,
