Re: “Surprise Signing”

Nothing concrete but from what I am told, Brodie Croft might be available (for the right fee) ;) No chance I would pay a fee for him if I was Wigan. Recency bias is the only reason he's rated. Cade was better than him in the NRL & if he was the focal point at Wigan, he'd get just as much hype.

Re: “Surprise Signing”

I think the only "guaranteed" forwards going into the season are Havard, Byrne, Bateman, Farrell, Smithies, KPP & Cooper. I could easily see the club moving on from Isa, Singleton & even Mago or Ellis if there is interest in any or all of them especially if a young lad impresses Ma...

Re: “Surprise Signing”

We are pretty well stocked at Prop though so I’d say it’s highly unlikely . True, but with rumours of Bateman leaving this could signal a shift of Smithies slotting in at second rower with Thompson taking the 13 shirt perhaps? He’s played loose at Canterbury so it isn’t a position that’s new to him...

I genuinely don't think any club in the world says no to Luke Thompson.

I could easily see Mago, Singleton & Ellis leave in order to facilitate that move.

Re: “Surprise Signing”

Just been told in the past few minutes that “Wigan are going all guns blazing for a surprise signing, BIG name” Has anyone heard any rumours of big names? All I can think is Luke Thompson. This has supposedly came from a Wigan player who knows the player we are trying to sign but he would not give ...

Bevan has made it very apparent he doesn't care where he plays. I don't know why this non-issue is so forced.

Re: Jake Wardle

The first announcements followed the trend anyway, New club first, current club just after (7mins between Salford & Wigan) Must admit its came a lot sooner than I thought it would in our off season Monday announcement I’m led to believe Dan. He’s due at Robin Park early doors. Is this the end o...

Re: Salford want Partington.

Best of luck to the lad.

Felt like the odd one out here with the young pack but I'm glad he's got a full-time SL gig.

Re: Joe Lovodua

I do find it odd that they have Dwyer, Lovodua AND Houghton on the books for the next year.

Re: Potential Outs

Interesting that. We are definitely due one but once again this year it’s been the pack that’s set the platform for the backs in the reserves. 4-5 really good props I have always said that England produces some of the best forwards in world rugby. It's the athleticism/size of the outside backs that...
