Re: Head coach Tony Smith leaves Hull FC after poor start to Super League season

Interesting that most of us seem to think this is unsurprising, who takes this gig will be a surprise!

Re: Catalans. vs. St Helens

Miski may be played at Cas in the C Cup but stood down for the SL game at the DW the following Friday.
Eckersley seems the front man for the position although he may well have competition for the place from Douglas.
We do seem to have young quality players ready to step up.

Correct, like the players Hetherington signed Smith isn't up to the job. When GH signed Rohan Smith most of us thought it was because he was a cheap option.

Re: Squad for Leigh

Good win, facts are we don’t miss Bryne and hills a much better option, chan can’t make yards but makes plenty penalties, Nsemba is some talent for his age and Kieran is as predicted quite anonymous .Thought all the pack went well, why couldn’t they have done that against saints? That’s the questio...

Re: Leeds vs Warrington

Rohan Smith is not to blame when the players signed by Hetherington are simply nowhere near good enough. How Leeds allowed Sam Walters to leave is beyond belief when it comes to levels of poor management. We've also picked up Leeming who was on their books start of 2023. Sam Eseh is a Leeds lad as f...

Re: Loan & Dual Reg Report

We announced that there was to be a duel reg deal with Wakefield.
It was rumoured Sam Eseh may go there on DR but no signs as yet of anyone else playing for Trinity.
Any thoughts why not?

Re: Disciplinary

Looks like the club anticipated this inconsistency and problems which the Dis Panel would come up with. The number of props signed given the number of forwards out with injury and suspension is mounting up. We have Havard, Cooper and Eseh injured with now Byrne and Dupree banned. Yet we still have f...

Re: Derby Day!

Earlier this season Saints played Salford at home, had Percival sent off, then lost!

We played Saints at their place, had Dupree sin binned and Byrne sent off, then lost!

Perhaps if neither Saints nor us had players sent off they may possibly not have lost!

Re: Options v Leigh

Peet said Havard was back on the field training with the team in the build up to Sheffield, so I don’t think he’ll be long but presuming he’s not ready for Thursday and Byrne/Dupree get banned, we still have some good options. I’d probably go along the lines of- Field Miski Keighran Wardle Marshall...
