<t>Those of us old enough to remember the cup run of 1985 will recall trips to Wire & Bradford away when the Wigan travelling support surpassed all expectations. Had to be seen to be beleived. It was like everyone who'd ever had a passing interest in Wigan RL wanted to get behind the club. They ...

Re: Would you be offended ...

<t>Truly outstanding. I bet they had to put on a special exhibition for that lot at the National Football Museum. Tell us some more. Loved the bit about 70 years worth of cup runs & league championships. That brought a chuckle & brightened up an otherwise drab day at the office. <br/> <br/> ...

Re: Would you be offended ...

Or it could reflect the towns rich musical heritage:

The Richard Ashcroft Stand
The Kym Marsh Stand
The George Formby Stand
The Limahl Stand

Could any other town beat that for line up?

Re: Would you be offended ...

<t>No objections at all. It is a shared stadium after all. The only problem is that whearas we are steeped in history and would struggle to choose between a long list of luminaries Latics have no history whatsoever and are consigned to picking names of people who used to wash the kit when they were ...

Re: Stats Under Millward

<t>Millward was the 14th man out there last night. The first half had his mark all over it. Exciting rugby, loads of options coming off the half backs. The second half didn't see the collapse that we've witnessed so many times this season and again I put that down to the confidence and self belief t...

Re: Fortress jjb

Great idea. I'll bring my 20 x 12ft Wigan RL flag for the South Stand to pass over their heads. It needs to be timed so that the East Stand pass one of the big shirts over their heads at the same time. For that we need to speak to the people on Cherry & White.co.uk.
