Its not to do with absolute price - its about the increase. Petrol has gone up as much for them as much as it has for us relatively.

Its cheaper over there fullstop - they just get paid less than us on average.

He can't be offside if he is behind the ball - so once the ball had gone past him he was back onside. There is an obscure rule that states that attacking players must also retreat 5m behind the play the ball and if they do not attempt this they are offside, but this is never enforced.
