Re: Byrne
Always said he’s overrated, just a big lump. I just think some fans want the homegrown to succeed and it masks their views of them, even when we know they’re not good enough I agree. The size of him he should be causing the opposition problems, but doesn't punch anywhere near his weight. Easier to ...

If Salford want a replacement before they will let Tyler Dupree leave, give them either Singleton or Byrne if it gets the deal done.Firestarter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 9:40 pm I think Singo will be in for him on Saturday.Peet usually drops underperforming players tbf

I agree with some of the sentiments re knee tackles, especially the “hip drop” technique. But, you didn’t hear Wellens moaning too much when Knowles did Mike Cooper. And Cooper wasn’t his first victim either .

Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread
Until reading the comments and caught up in watching the match I hadn't realised that Hill hadn't got onto the pitch when we were running out if gas in the second half. Not the first time we have done that this season. You should start a match with 13/17 fit players because generally you won't fini...

Re: All time best team: a personal perspective from players watched from 1931 to 2023
And of course the likes of Boston, McTigue, Bolton etc didn't have the training, diet regimes etc of the current players. They too would be bigger and faster. I've always thought Billy B would be a world class fullback in todays game. With today's professionalism, diet knowledge, medical advances, ...

Re: Kris Radlinski
I’d be careful what we wish for when it comes to a change of leadership. KR can only work with the budget he’s given and he isn’t the only man who gets a say on the signings. The signs in regards retention and recruitment for next year look extremely positive. The connection between the club and th...

Re: Kaide Ellis signs new deal
Kaide has looked much better this year, hope this settles him and we really see more from him. Three more years is a bit surprising but hopefully shows his intent. I do still think Mago is worth more thought, if only because he adds something different (needs to do it every week though). Three more...
