Why is it that Wigans defence one game is watertight and another game leaks like a sieve.?

Did Briers coach the Forwards or perhaps the defence ? a combination of both seem to be the crux of our problems.

We had the same criticism levelled at John Bateman not playing to his previous high standard but still better than most it now appears that Liam Farrell is now in the same boat.

Not a criticism of Welsby whom I think is a very talented player, but of the sky commentary team who despite 5 star performances by numerous players were determined to make Jack Welsby “the player “ this despite the poor opposition on the day.

I completely agree it was also used by people with an agenda to disparage Sean Wane .

He never said reached the consistent form for Wigan that he showed for both Cas and Leeds . Probably one of the least missed players that we have ever lost.
