Re: New Prop
Everything seems to have gone quiet. We have our smaller squad and....... nothing. I wonder how much the probability of another shortened season is influencing the decision makers. Perhaps with fewer games we may be able to compete on the basis of fewer games = fewer injuries. We could be up agains...

Re: Overseas players
And you know this how? Pre season vs training on your own in Australia? It isn’t even up for debate. If it was, why even bother with pre season? Why even train at all. So how do you know the club hasn't set them a pre season training schedule to follow while down under in the glorious covid free we...

Re: Overseas players
They're better off over there for training right now I'd think. No lockdown in Aus once you're in. Better training on there own vs pre season with the team? I think not. Less likely to catch Covid but what they will be doing in Aus won’t get close to what pre season training does. And you know this...

Re: Season start delayed
Everything I have read suggests that we are likely to open up nationally, but we will cut ourselves off from the rest of the world (adopting the Australian approach of closed borders). It didn’t make sense to do this before we had the vaccine, as the damage was done by all the people coming back fr...

Re: Leeds Rhinos close training ground after seven positive Covid tests
This is going to be a recurring theme over the next couple of months. I simply cannot see Rugby League being able form bubbles and protect against the virus to the same level the Premier League have. Comes down to factors such as - level of PCR testing available - how many of their wives / girlfrien...

Re: Overseas players
French and Hastings are still in Australia and are going to have to isolate for 10 days on their return.

Re: Zak Hardaker's most honest ever interview
Interesting interview. The lad does seem to have turned himself round, though he also gets his excuses in! Personally more impressed with how he's "taken one for the team" by playing centre this year than by the talk of reform. That shows that it's real and not just talk. Hope he keeps it...

Re: Season start delayed
Rugby League crowds are so small anyway + the appetite to attend live games will surely have decreased because of covid should allow for socially distanced live viewing.
