Re: Luke Thompson
Does this mean that we now have: Havard, Cooper, Mago, Thompson, Byrne, Hill, Dupree, Ellis as main props with Chan, Douglas & Makin as back-ups? I'm assuming that Nsemba & Walters will be second rows along with Farrell & Shorrocks (assuming he's still here) & Isa - Smithies at LF (m...

Re: Referee for Saturday
Ellis will be banned for damaging the grass with his boots as he walks on and the rest of the team will say 'Good Afternoon' to Moore and be banned for foul and abusive language.
And if we still win - Moore will get the final just to make sure of the end result.

Re: Referee for Friday
A classic example of that was when Briscoe was pushed back over the line for what would have been a drop-out. Moore signalled that his feet were off the ground and brought play back to where the feet were raised. Quite correct (although Briscoe himself lifted his legs not the Wigan players) but I ca...

Re: Tonight's Game/Wigan squad for Leigh
Blimey - didn't Leigh whinge! Even Charnley (who I like and still rate) never shut up. They should sign Mikey Lewis and then they would have the full set.

Re: Referee for Friday
He was ineffectual, inadequate and poor for both sides. The tragedy is that we will get him for either the semi or the final as he is the current RFL favourite son. Too many irrational decisions to count but typical was the last action of the first half. O'Neill is tackled as the hooter sounds - he ...

Re: Disciplinary | Match Review Panel
Oh right! It was so inconclusive that everyone watching on TV saw it in real time and in slow-mo. Also, the player next to the 'tackle' saw it and alerted the ref.
Fit for purpose? Having a laugh I think.

Re: Chris Kendall
I wondered about the double movement at the time but assumed they were thinking about momentum. Saints' first try had an outrageous forward pass from Welsby but I'm nor sure I've seen a match recently with so much spite and malice. I'm guessing it was the cup semi-final that generated it but it was ...

Re: Tonight's Match/Wigan squad for Salford
A thoroughly professional performance - maybe the most professional of the season. Plaudits to French for not making a meal of that 'challenge' and don't think the refereeing was any worse than most other nights. Agree about sorting out the legs over the horizontal problem. As it stands, Kendall had...
