Re: Ticketmaster Sport Update
Just requested a physical season ticket as I don't have a smartphone. I do have a desktop which is just as well because when I spoke to the bloke in the ticket office (nice lad) he said that I'd have to email the club with my request. It seems that people are determined to drag me kicking and scream...

Re: Night under the lights
Couldn't get there yesterday but very impressed to see that the players stayed so late to see everybody. That's the kind of behaviour that builds loyalty from the fans. Well done to everyone concerned.

Re: Jack Welsby keeps NRL door open as St Helens and England star opens up on future
I can see him moving to the NRL for 2025 if he plays well this coming season without then winning anything. This 2023 would have been a shock to the system and he may think they'll put it right straight away. We have to make certain that they don't. He's one of those players that has been lucky (and...

Re: Contact Above the Armpit
I'm afraid this had to come if the game wants to survive into the next decade. I'm sure the coaches/players will adapt and I'll reserve judgement on the product until I've seen a few games. I do approve of the changes to the junior game though. Young parents seem more risk averse than many of us in ...

Re: Any more to come?
I was hoping to see Farrimond in a halfback partnership with Harry in the future if and when Bevan returns home. I don't think we'll lose Harry but if we do we may need Farrimond to replace him. Farrimond seems to be very highly rated by those that have seen him play. For those 'in the know' how lon...

Re: Owen Farrell
The size of the contract they're talking about in the papers isn't sustainable for union (never mind Super League) even if the owners are millionaires. If Danson is ever prepared to pay out such sums I'm sure he'd have the sense to only do so for top NRL talent of the quality that, at present. would...

Re: Wigan Warriors favourites to dominate 2024 season
I agree with the last two posters - although the signings look promising, most of those that have left played a significant part in our success. If circumstances had been different I'm sure we wouldn't have replaced KPP, Smithies and King. You can always talk yourself into the idea that individuals ...

Re: Harry Smith
Harry has been voted player of the series and deservedly so. He looks to have made another step forward since the GF and it bodes well for next season. I don't think he's going anywhere. We should secure him on a great contract and he could well become a modern Wigan great.

Re: Mikey Lewis omitted from England's final Test squad as George Williams returns
Lewis has talent and attitude and has done really well this year. However, I seem to remember that he was the 'leader' in missed tackles in SL last season. If that's the case, there is no way that Waney would choose him ahead of George, a great tackler, if George was playing anywhere near his best. ...
