Re: Bevan French
He doesn't mean it. Bevan had a poor game (who didn't?), and missed a few more tackles than usual, but he put in his usual shift and still made the best assist of the game.

Re: Stains v Hudds
I was just watching the end of game chat on the Saints game with Wilkin and Sam T, where they were predicting the results of the weekend's games. Re: Bevan French
I looked up some stats the other day. Last season, when Bevan played in the halves and got 30 try assists for the season, he also scored 17 tries. Re: Stains v Hudds
It was on in the pub, and I was only half-watching, and I didn't see the winning score, but from what I saw, Saints had loads of field position in the second half and didn't show much idea of how to convert it into points. I thought they looked very clunky, and discipline was again a bit iffy.

I'm a jaundiced old soul, but I take the view that when you look at seriously rich men, only a small proportion of them could claim to have come by their wealth entirely honestly.

Massive forward pass by Leeming in the build-up to one of our tries, the second?Raging Penguin wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 8:09 pm I also would say that the ref seemed to have relaxed a bit, as there were plenty of high tackles seemingly ignored too, as well as forward passes, offsides... but at least this was consistent
