Sorry Devon Jim, I live in Gloucester and Widden Old Boys was my sons Rugby Club.

Gloucester is a bit like Wigan, they are Rugby mad and any patch of grass has rugby posts and a clubhouse down here!

Sadly its mostly union but league, especially for juniors, is growing.

Thornley had a cracking match all round. 3 or 4 good tackles, took the ball up strongly and took his try well. Just needed to get his winger away but not easy in the rain.

Hilight of the match - just said to my lad "we wont catch him" when Josh appears from nowhere. Also credit to Green for his chase too.
