Croft has had a great 2nd half of the season, I 'm happy with him or Field getting it.
Field probably didn't get the point he deserved on making many of the tried in the 2nd half of the season and French would have taken most of them.

Re: POWELL!!
In some ways having Powell in the team means we need a decent ball playing 13 in the style of Cam Smith or SOL. This is obviously the role they have Shorrocks in mind for, but we seem to favour 4 props on the bench so our attacking points of difference are limited. Makes.it easy to focus defenders o...

Re: POWELL!!
Watched St Helens yesterday and the place kicks was outstanding and showed how to break down a tight defence, we just cannot rely on 3 players with speed to burn and need more attacking points. Exactly what i've been saying, Saints practice their kicking to perfection. Everyone right on the onside ...

Re: Jai Field shares his gratitude to Wigan Warriors for sticking by him ahead of a transformative 12 months
Thats one way of looking at it The other is that had Wigan not been patient and given themselves time to work on a deal that made Bevan happy to sign, he would already be a Newcastle player for next season. For one of the exceptional 'bums off seats' players in SL I think that's a price well worth p...

To be fair to Cust, in the CC final his arm got bent backwards, it would have dislocated anyone's arm.

Re: Wigan v St Helens
Cust a far better team player than Hastings. Doesn't hog the ball and doesn't run down a blind alley and get caught in possession on the 4th and 5th tackle.
I honestly think Smith was not only hindered by playing behind a crap pack, but having to play alongside Hastings last year.

Re: Ricky Leutele
Off topic, but relating to the Croft comment.
Is it right we were in discussions with Croft then missed out because we went after Williams instead, with Salford then signing him?
