I remember it well Morley may have been 64/65 for me but I went train spotting on north western and got the train you mention back to bryn or garswood as it was in between where I lived, the good old days waiting for a Britania class to come through if we were lucky

I’m a big fan of Byrnes but expressed doubts about him earlier in this thread, last night he answered those doubts and hopefully turned a big corner, same could be said about Mago who I thought started to turn his form around at Wakefield, all in all big game for all the team

Think it’s gone backwards, as mentioned earlier the coverage for academy and reserves is poor now. Used to be live games away as well as home but lucky to get a re run for some now . Coverage for women’s team not bad so it may be a political statement.

I don’t think any sensible Wigan fan could ever say George didn’t play well for us , or have a successful time at Canberra. I remember Hull coming with a weakened team a few years ago and we struggled to beat them , these are the games we take for granted and start looking at points difference and end up with egg on our faces
