Re: Benny
I notice that Ben didn't play for the reserves today. Given that he hasn't started a game this season I don't see how we can play him against Hull. Sad to say but it doesn't look like he'll be fit enough to get a new contract with us.

Re: Is Lam the real deal or not?
I agree with the comments of the last couple of posters, poor at first but some signs of progress. I hope we can keep giving Smith game time, he's promising and we'll probably need him to start next season if not always this. Our lack of speed at the ruck has been a problem for years and I don't und...

Re: Squad v Toronto
Bullock and Clarke both in for me. Smith should keep his place even if he starts on the bench (if Powell is fit), we need to see how he copes/progresses with a run of games. I'd give George Burgess more time and I think Greenwood needs more games in the reserves to restore his confidence because, sa...

Re: Wigan Warriors Reserves
Predictable but unfortunate because several players really needed to play. Bullock and Clarke won't be able to convince Lam of his errors on Friday. George Burgess misses a chance to show that he's recovered so I hope he doesn't play against Toronto, he can't be fit enough to play for the first team...

Re: One More Recruit??!!
Although I tend to agree with the last post it's worrying that young Amir is not thought good enough yet to be back up hooker. If he isn't ready yet that's fine but we should have a ready made replacement at 9. I know Tommy is good cover for 9 but, if he's playing 7 he can't do both at once. Hopeful...

Very impressive and clearly building for the WCC. Don't know how I feel about them winning that but I hope Sydney City are well prepared.

Re: Tigers injury woes!!
We all know that Cas away is a tricky one but, let's be honest, we have no excuses this time and I'll be disappointed if we don't come away with a win. Last season's side (at the same point in the season) would have lost, I'm hoping for better this time.

Re: 21-man squad vs Castleford
Does anybody know if Joe Bullock is injured? I'm pleased to see Clarke get a game but my impression was from those who went to the preseason and reserve games that Bullock looked quite good.

Re: Harry Smith
Just seen on the other site that Sam Powell may play on Friday. How's that possible now that it's an eight day rest if you fail the head test? If Sam does play (and I don't think that he should), Harry should still get a game either starting or from the bench.

Re: Shaun Wane 'set to be new England RL coach'
Congratulations to Waney and all the best for the next couple of years. Whatever else we see, the England players will look like they're prepared to give everything for the team.
