Re: Squad for Leigh
Great performance, but we've still got more in the tank. Lets save that for the last 10 matches though. Does anyone think that Faz, great servant though he has been, is not anywhere near as effective this year? He's always lacked size, but he's made up for that by running excellent lines and making ...

Re: How can we improve for next year?
Well it would help wouldn't it? It would but it would also help if we had some consistency from the officials. They’re doing their best to enforce rules, rules them yet again to have changed because of public outcry,if you bring in rules and think they are the correct way to go then stick with them ...

Re: Referee for Thursday
The funniest/most anoying thing that i saw was after the Mago bad play the ball hand over, the Leigh player restarts with the most obvious step over, not attempting to play the ball, PTB you'll ever see. Nothing given. BTW we opted for the re-scrum I believe. Differential pen or rescrum, its up to us.

Re: Squad for Leigh
I thought that if the ball was on an arm that was touching the ground then it was a try. Have the rules changed or have I been wrong all my life? (and I have scored a few like that too, so it can't just have been me!!) That's what I always thought to. Ball or ball carrying arm down equals grounded.

Great news! Best SO in the comp! We'll have to make room for a 6th star on the 2026 kit!

Re: Consistency of officiating
Saints attacking drive that lead to their score included a makinson/percival (I get them mixed up) step-over PTB when that player had been warned and already given up a penalty. It was a really obvious step over with not even a hint of a foot motion towards the ball. The ref should have been very mu...

Re: Disciplinary
Bryne led with his shoulder (just) into Percival head so yes bang to rights I fear. And I’ve just watched it now at no point whatsoever does the video ref mention all Kendall say no mitigation so red card so enough with this fantasy of the video ref saying it’s yellow he didn’t. I thought it was me...

Re: Consistency of officiating
Sorry, this was in reply to Wigan forever 1985 We were in the corner, directly in line with French's try. It wasn't dubious at all, just watch Benniisons and Welsbys reactions, they knew it was a try. The ball bounced back up to his hand on the slow mo replay imo only a fraction of a second and wou...

Re: Consistency of officiating
Yeah, dodds kicks out with his left foot. Ref says feet were planted. That's just wrong. Yellow card all day long.Firestarter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 12:46 pm I agree that there have been a ridiculous amount of bad decisions .im shocked that nothing else has been mentioned about the trip on field.
