Re: Cade Cust confirms Wigan Warriors departure: 'I've enjoyed every moment'
Definition of an unlucky player with injuries. I always liked him as a player and he was key in our run to win the cup, combining really well with Harry. Hope he comes good at Salford. Classy on and off the pitch.

Re: Sam Powell Has Left The Club
I hope Sam Powell does well at Warrington (heaven knows they are a basket case) and thanks for all the work he did for us. I always thought we could do better and I suspect we probably have with O'Neill & Leeming (plus other young up-and-comers) but he was always a 100% trier.

Re: Video Refs
Actually, I think we may have got it right in RL. TMO makes a bad game worse and a slow game slower in the boring union. VAR in football was introduced because referees on the pitch were making too many errors so who did they put in charge of VAR? The same refs who were responsible for it having to ...

Re: Seven Betfred Super League clubs awarded Grade A status
Living in the South (don't worry, I'm having treatment) selfishly, being able to see every game live would be great. I could watch every Wigan game live. However, I worry that it will lead to a decrease in numbers of people making the effort to go and watch their team live. Dedicated supporters will...

Re: Seven Betfred Super League clubs awarded Grade A status
I wonder if in this brave new world, there might be a place for a revolutionary concept. Let's call it - winning matches. In this, a team enters a league - wins more matches than anyone else and does something called Winning The League. On second thoughts, it's a silly idea. I assume the Cup Final w...

Out of Season story (I hope.) He's hopeless in defence.

Re: Luke Thompson
Does this mean that we now have: Havard, Cooper, Mago, Thompson, Byrne, Hill, Dupree, Ellis as main props with Chan, Douglas & Makin as back-ups? I'm assuming that Nsemba & Walters will be second rows along with Farrell & Shorrocks (assuming he's still here) & Isa - Smithies at LF (...

Re: Referee for Saturday
Ellis will be banned for damaging the grass with his boots as he walks on and the rest of the team will say 'Good Afternoon' to Moore and be banned for foul and abusive language.
And if we still win - Moore will get the final just to make sure of the end result.

Re: Referee for Friday
A classic example of that was when Briscoe was pushed back over the line for what would have been a drop-out. Moore signalled that his feet were off the ground and brought play back to where the feet were raised. Quite correct (although Briscoe himself lifted his legs not the Wigan players) but I ca...
