Re: George William's released by Canberra
Genuine question, and I've no idea of the answer:
Talk of salary cap restrictions, but just suppose Canberra and Wigan both have similar problem - could 2 "loan" deals be arranged for Bevan and George respectively?
Just asking.

Re: Adrian Lam's plan of attack for Wigan Warriors
My point is that kids go to what's trendy or cool, or whatever the latest jargon is. But the crowd/atmosphere is a big part of the experience. They won't come back to see 10 or 12 thousand old fogies complaining about the ref! Tbh, the Wigan fans at away matches create more atmosphere than at home. ...

Re: Adrian Lam's plan of attack for Wigan Warriors
Going back to a previous point which has been overlooked: (Pre-Covid), Wigan's crowds are falling. I guess that the age profile is weighted towards over-60s - not a viable business model. Adding the "Warriors" tag hardly created a Bradford Bulls-type surge in numbers (and should be dropped...

Re: Adrian Lam's plan of attack for Wigan Warriors
We are happy with the 7 from 7 dross.  If we'd blown away the 6 teams we've played, there would be legitimate concern that we were peaking too soon/using all our best moves/"wait til we get injuries" and so on. People and, it seems, Wigan fans in particular, like a good moan. M...

Re: Leigh Centurions Operational Board Statement: OurLeague
Rfl and the clubs is missing a trick here. We are still very much in the throws of a pandemic, they should have done this service for the entire season for those that have chosen to by a season ticket but may be prevented from attending due to any local lockdowns that come in or even if someone end...

Re: Adrian Lam addressing Wigan Warriors' goal-kicking options
Hankinson looked a very decent goalkicker but as a centre, it was obvious that he lacked pace which meant he struggled as an attacking player but his defence was pretty decent. I was always surprised that the club and the player didn't look to bulk him up and become a second-rower. Sort of a Danny ...

Re: 21-man squad v Hull FC
Here we go again! 6 wins on the bounce, then the first defeat and it's "Doomed, we're all doomed". First, credit to Hull. They'll be challenging for more than the cup if they continue the improvement under Hodgson. Secondly, mistakes pretty much cost us the game. Liam Byrne is a young lad...
