Re: Set up
After the dross he's read on this site, and others, (Redvee) about himself, I'm surprised he took time out to answer at all.

Re: RHINOS BRING EASTMOND BACK TO SUPER LEAGUE
This might well be an inspired signing by Leeds. They have a fair number of injured first team players already before the season kicks off and this move could be a yardstick to see how a player reverts back to league after ten or more years in union. (I'm thinking of Farrell who would love a season ...

Re: French and hastings
They'll be back chonk in fettle. These lads won't be sitting around drinking Fosters and chewing on pizzas. They know that maybe, just maybe, their contracts are up for renewal at the end of our season and they both will want the best deal available, either here or back in Oz.

Re: New Prop
I see Gabe Hamlin is up and running again. He'd be cheap and loads of effort in the lad, he'd be a good fit in the 'no scrums' game we're stuck with.
The club had success with Hock after a drugs ban, Zac is a changed person, now a credit to the club and the game so why not give Hamlin another chance?

Re: George Burges
IIRC Nigel Wright got a bad ankle injury whilst playing. Did he come injured? [/quote] I don't think Nigel Wright had injury problems when he came from Wakey but certainly the ankle caused a shedful of missed games. The final straw for Wigan was a shoulder injury that wouldn't clear up and he went ...

If you look back over the last twenty years, we have imported a lot of players from Salford. to my recollection, I can't think of any who let us down.

Re: George Burges
George Burgess is one of a long line of players Wigan have signed or re-signed, that had medical problems when they signed up. I'm thinking of players like Nigel Wright, the Tomkins brothers, Karl Price, Lee Mossop, the list goes on and on. Other players that were injured during their contracts and ...

Re: 21-man squad vs Hull FC
I cite the single negative post about the ref from early in the first half as evidence. Other than that no one had any complaints at all. Almost unheard of! Mike, thanks for the above quote. I've just laughed my way through some tripe written by the Redvee rednecks on their site, Redvee.net Anyone ...

Re: Tonight tonight tonght
Two other quick points, it’s a team that wins trophies not individuals and we won this league by not playing at home after the re-start, Saints had a big advantage by regularly playing in their own pig pen. Let’s enjoy tonight and hopefully press on to the GF. It will take a good team to beat Wigan...
