Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread
We play some really dumb rugby at times. Farrell as captain should be controlling the team and tactics on the pitch. He should be barking orders to the team and laying the law down to them stting out what they should do in the next set etc. He seems to escape criticism for his captaincy, or I shoul...

Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread
The problem with our attack is French, Schneider plays for us today and we win. That's crazy. French has been our most creative player since moving to 6. He averages an assist a game in that position which is the same as Lachlan Lam and averages a try every other game. There's no other halfback mat...

Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread
Frustrating that the red card decided that game. It was never a red card. Initial contact was with the ball. Lewis' chin is above Shorrocks' shoulder at all times. If there is any slight contact it's because the force of the hit makes his head go forward initially. If there's any contact above the c...

Re: Kris Radlinski
I agree I’d be genuinely surprised if he goes anywhere, let be honest here he was made CEO from January I’d presume the sales talks with Danson where on going at that point so I’d assume he’d have to at least agree in principal to him getting the job. Danson was already 25% shareholder at that point...

Re: Ian Lenagan to step down as Chairman and Shareholder
When Ian Lenagan took over there was a lot of work to do to make the club sustainable on and off the field. He got the on-field stuff right very quickly with the appointment of Michael Maguire. It didn't take long to sort out the off-field stuff either as we pretty quickly increased attendances over...

Re: Positions
The players Flash listed were all ‘Top End’ players in their original position, so for them to transition to another position is far easier! The quality they all had made them world class, it’s just easier for them! The players that some on here are suggesting a change of position for are nowhere n...

Re: Wigan squad for Warrington / Tonight's Match v Warrington
Shorrocks ran 12m from 6 carries… Is that a typo on the Super League site? Regardless of defensive abilities or when he gets his hands on the ball that isn’t good enough is it? Missed 11 tackles too. Should move to the bench and start Pearce Paul Shorrocks has never been best suited to second row b...

Re: Positions
I’m not having a pop but I genuinely admire your passion for players not being allowed to move positions. I see somebody suggest a move for a player nowadays and straight away I think ‘Nathan won’t like that’ The history of the game is littered with people moving positions and Tomkins himself...

Re: Tom forber
Why would his future be in another position? They'll both play hooker and interchange during the game.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 8:50 pm They may do but and I'll say it again Leeming isn't coming here to warm the bench so I wonder if they see O'Neill future in a different position?

I hope he learns how to play the ball between now and next season
