Re: Average Super League attendances during the 2024 season so far

Halifax used to be well supported in the late 80s.They always brought a massive away following at central park I used to love the games v Halifax. As you say, big away following on the Kop at Central Park and great atmosphere at those games and Thrum Hall was a treat for any of our younger fans who...

Re: Disciplinary

that website is so hard to fathom out click on governance > disciplinary and you cant see anything relating to this weeks action, however, it is there if you stumble across it what i did find was how the fines are come about, so thats now a bit clearer (£250 if fined during MRP & £500 if tribun...

If the cap is 2.1m but it can (only) be exceeded for 3 marquee players, then, to reach 3.1m we would be paying 1m to those 3 above the relevant cap. If, say, the 3 marquee players are Smith, Thompson and French, then if we split the excess we wou...

Re: Wigan Warriors reported to have biggest ‘salary spend’ of 2024 Super League season

i posted previously with examples of how the new marquee rules would work, and how naming different players impacted in different way (old rules v new rules) but also stated i had no idea who was paid what and my examples were purely for illustration purposes. as fans does it matter who is named as...

Re: Disciplinary

A £250 fine for Abbas Miski for dangerous contact! 🤔🤔 Probably fortunate based on whats gone before, however, and this is where i think all fans and people associated with the game are in agreement, it was a fraction of a second late / not dangerous, and was rightly dealt with on the night - should...

Re: Leeds vs Warrington

I actually thought they were booing the referee as the fans were not happy about a number of decisions in the first half They were the Handley break where he was caught and 2nd man in then pushed him over the touch line in the main one, and did a Leeds player get binned but Wire player did similar ...

Re: Leeds vs Warrington

Leeds were poor but wire seem to be finding some form. I'll be interested to see how they go against saints in the cup. The form line through catalans seems to suggest it will be close so perhaps we'll find out how much impact Burgess is having on their performance. to be fair i thought it was a po...
