Re: Referee for Friday
<t>When are the RFL going to do something about the sheer inadequacy of officials, particularly the younger referees?<br/> <br/> It was patently obvious that neither side had any confidence in Child. I've never seen George so furious at an official during a match and Stuart Fielden's comment to Bill...

Re: Six Warriors in England Elite
<t>How anyone in their right mind could prefer the lumpen Carl Ablett to Goulding is unreal.<br/> <br/> However, at least he's seen through the thug's thug - Ryan Bailey.<br/> <br/> As for Kieran Dixon - he may be the fastest thing in London but he hasn't a clue how to defend. Another Jamie Foster?<...

Re: Rotten Wigan.
<r><QUOTE author="Exiled Wiganer"><s>[quote="Exiled Wiganer"]</s>I don't understand what you're complaining about at this stage Dave O. We are top of the league and just need to win 2 from 3 to stay there. Nothing in our form this year suggests we cannot do so. In doing so, we will at least match ou...

Re: What Are We Missing?
<t>Don't panic might be the motto at the moment.<br/> <br/> Agree that Micky Mac needs a break - that was the first really dud game he's had for a long time.<br/> <br/> Mr. Lima should be asked whether he intends to play properly for the rest of the season or would he like to go now. He's been one-d...

Re: Wigan 48 - Hull FC 10
<t>I wondered about trying Matty Smith at goalkicking as well.<br/> He seemed to do some kicking at previous clubs.<br/> <br/> Thought Lima's performance was really shoddy but Hughes & Thornley were very good.<br/> <br/> If we keep bringing on young, local lads, we can dip into the overseas mark...

Re: Matty Smith
<t>He already looks a better tactical kicker in open play than anyone else which has been one of the weaker points of our game. Finch is good near the oppo line when attacking but not great from within his own half, Sam is OK when looking purely for distance but Smith seems to have that ability to j...

Re: Warriors Name Squad to Face Tigers
Think Thornley deserves another outing although he will have to work on his fitness/stamina. He was knackered by the end at London - says something about comparative fitness of League and Union I expect.

Re: Referee for Friday
<t>There might be some good news around. The touch judges at London last weekend were extremely good - spotted foul play and alerted the referee straightaway and called forward passes.<br/> <br/> They were J Cobb & G Jones.<br/> <br/> I normally complain bitterly at touch judges so it's only rig...
