Re: Stevie Ward to Sue Leeds
How has head protection worked in the NFL? [/b] Where is the evidence that says it isn't working. All of the players with concussion and CTE This says it does work. The NFL did, however, experience success in its efforts to mitigate preseason practice concussions. After tweaking its acclimation per...

Re: Stevie Ward to Sue Leeds
I see, take a shot at the example, but not the principle - which is pretty clear. If your employer did not follow safety regulations and best practices and you were injured as a direct result - you can sue . Not taking a shot at anything what I was trying to highlight is there are set safety guidel...

Re: Stevie Ward to Sue Leeds
I assume he is sueing Leeds on some form of basis that they didn’t follow proper concussion protocol which meant he played too soon and suffered another consussion which led to his retirement. That scenario is completely different to what you have suggested above. It isn’t about players knowing the...

Re: Stevie Ward to Sue Leeds
I wonder how many potential concussions he may have suffered when playing at amateur level. Should players sue their former amateur clubs, should they sue their parents who probably drove them to training and games each week and if they were a good player probably encouraged/made them play each wee...

I understand it's professional but surely clubs/players have to take out insurance, or maybe concussion isn't covered by it  That's intere...

Re: Game Vs Midlands Hurricanes
The club talk about building a community and culture. Joel brought the clubs name into disrepute as well as acting in a aggressive manner toward bar staff (you can add female to that depending on if you are all for equality or not) Generally if you are sacked from your Job for behaviour like that y...

Re: Wigan launch Charity Third Kit
OK, I'll get my moan in first. £52 of which a whole £5 is going to the actual charity. Just give £10 direct to the charity. Win win Got mine this morning. I quite like it better than home and away kits but still poor sizing. Your right about the charity bit. My thinking is season ticket holders get...
