Re: Joel

I suspect if Faz was fit, then Joel would come back and John Bateman would move to loose-forward. When Faz recovers and if George is still out expect that will happen.

Re: Wigan players elsewhere

<t>Of that team, the biggest loss was Scott Taylor (who just didn't want to stay) - Pat went back home until he discovered the delights of La Belle France and the only two of the others that I would want back are Ian Thornley and Logan - both should never have been let go.<br/> <br/> All the others ...

Re: Inside Ball

I got fed up watching it over and over again. Doesn't anyone on the field have the authority to say that it isn't working and let's try something else?

Re: Widnes game

<t>Couldn't see much difference in our performance tonight from the last 5 games. We got away with it in those earlier matches and we didn't tonight.<br/> <br/> Some players had bad matches, although it might help Matty Smith if the team gave him some protection when he kicked. Compare that with the...

Re: Referee for Thursday

Oh well - that unbeaten run was nice while it lasted. The NRL must laugh themselves silly at our 'top' referee.

At lest the squad is unchanged - which is good news.

Re: Strongest Man In SL; Lockers

Thought the would-be tacklers bouncing off him was hilarious. Now I wonder what show pony will beat him to be MOS again. Ridiculous that he's never won the award.

Re: JJB

I laughed out loud when he went the wrong way as Gelling took off but I hope he gets cited for that dangerous tackle on Josh. It was JJB who grabbed Josh between the legs (by the shorts) and turned him over - that could have been really serious.

Re: Sarge / Tierney / Fell

<t>I thought Sarge looked much better at full-back, where his attacking skills were used. He had a bad night with passing but I suspect that can be sorted. What it did prove was that Gildart is the real deal and that in the absence of ST, we can put out a back five with some confidence in defence an...

Re: Comprehensive and dominant.

The worst Leeds side I've seen in ages. Galloway?!!! Can't believe I'm saying this but Widnes next week will be the true test of whether we are as good as we looked tonight (second half).

Re: Faz Try

<t>I suspect we have to see it in the context of how Silverwood performed all night. There were constant video replays of incidents that he had not been asked to review and he tried his best to deny Clubb a valid try and it was patently obvious that he saw his job as being the 'real' referee on the ...
