Re: Wigan to face Tigers in Cup Quarter Final
Famous last words, but I think there are at least 5 tougher opponents out of the 7 in the draw. But, of course, in the Cup, there is no room for an off day.

Re: Wigan squad for Sheffield
Incidentally, that “flare/flair” comment may be entirely misconceived. Lots of people end up replacing one word with another which sounds the same (a homonym I think it’s called), either because of phone etc spellcheck or a simple lapse in concentration. I often get their and there mixed up not beca...

Re: Rocky
I wonder whether he has ever developed the skill to play what is in front of him. He seems unable to adapt, and end up going down blind alleys far too often. Good player to have in the squad, and he is an important squad player for the best club side in the world, so it could be a lot worse.

He reminds me of Cunningham. He already leads the pack. What a talent.

Re: Wigan Squad for Salford
The backs pick themselves. In the pack, with half an eye on Good Friday, I would play:
Thompson - O’Neill - Dupree - Nsemba - Farrell - Ellis (with Mago, Byrne, Hill and Forber). Nsemba looked superb when he hit his stride against London, and I am v excited to see what damage he can cause this year.

Re: Club Statement: Ticketing
I know I am late to this party, but why do we have 6 home games in our last 8 fixtures? Is it us playing second fiddle to the soccer lot? Is it going to be like this forever?

Re: Club Statement: Ticketing
What bothers me about this sort of thing is that I don’t remember us being asked as a society that everyone had to be computer literate to take part in society. Which isn’t a Wigan thing but as I grow older and have more responsibilities for older generations it really concerns me.

Re: Club Statement: Ticketing Situation
I would imagine the cost of hiring extra staff etc along with their carbon footprint far outweighs the cost of the set up last year. And we are in Round 3 This isn’t a response to your quote, but rather your sign off caught my eye. I asked my auntie (who is v excited about her 92nd season watching ...

Re: Club Statement: Ticketing Situation
I think the starting point of the note is wrong. Of our 4, 2 have the correct seats in email attachments, one has a seat in the opposite stand from the one our group sits in and the 4th has neither an email nor a physical ticket. They should have said - we believe we have sent out either emails or p...
