Happy with the win is about as you can expect in conditions like that.
Two league points is what was played for and we won them.
Not an ideal match but was never going to be.
I was happy with the result and the safety first tactics which won the game.

Re: DW pitch
That pitch is an utter disgrace.
Before long we'll be back 40 years when teams had to change shirts at half time due to them being mud soaked.
Agree that long term it will have to be changed to artifical.

Re: Injuries?
If he staggered off perhaps it was exhaustion after doing 70 mins on that pitch, with his work rate and no warm up game.
Real contender for MOM I thought.

Re: Gelling
I thought he had a good game.
His chase downfield folowing a kick when he tackled the Catalan man into touch was excellent.
From that set we should have gone for a drop goal.

Re: Kiss of death from Millward?
In all the pre season articles written none have mentioned our utterly abysmal away form, Millward as well.
It has to improve massively if we are to have any chance of a trophy.

Re: Squad v Cats
Lewis will be full back with Sarge at centre I reckon.
If LT flounders then he may be shielded from Brough at Hudds with Sarge to FB and Oli G to centre.
First up though I think he'll go with Lewis.

Re: Wayne Bennett
<t>For a long while I always thought the Intl players didn't believe in McNamara as they were getting far better coaching at club level.<br/> <br/> That won't happen with Bennett in charge. For all of them he will be the best coach they've ever been coached by.<br/> I wonder if there will be fewer o...

Talk about raising standards.
From McNamara to Wayne Bennett in one leap. Good Grief!

I'd have thought BB would have been a deputy for Micky Mac seeing as they both play 9.

Re: Starting line up v Cats?
I believe Sarge is fully fit.
I'd expect him and Gelling to be our centres.
