Re: Orr
<t>Though we may not be getting the full picture. <br/> Personally, if we end up with a group of new players which, as a group, improve us even slightly when compared with the squad we finished last year with, then we'll be well placed to make the play-offs, esp as Hock and Hansen will have bulked u...

Re: Orr
<t>I am slightly anxious but not in despair about this. All we are seeing at the moment are people leaving - Rads, Dallas, Orr, Moran/Dobson, Logan, Godwin, BH and Tickle (did I miss anyone?) from our first team squad at the start of last year.<br/> <br/> In the in-tray we have only Bailey and Barre...

Re: RFU RE-THINK
<t>I think this does league no harm. It is common ground that "all" Farrrell can do is pass, tackle, run and kick, but cannot ruck and maul. This illustratesn perfectly the difference between the 2 games - we like to watch people running/passing/tackling, they want to see people rolling about in the...

Re: Fletcher to be offered...
<t>I wonder whether, in return for an extra year, he'll be taking a pay cut, consistent with Nobby's views on our over-paying players.<br/> If we can sort out DV's contract we'll be well placed.<br/> It makes great sense to have Fletch lead Hansen, Hock and Lockers around the park. He's a footballer...

Re: haliquins preparing to...
I have never thought of him as a weak link, but haven't made a study of it, so I suspect he's good enough.

Re: haliquins preparing to...
<t>I am very pleased about this, having seen Leuluai in all his home games in London. He is a perfect foil for Barrett, dynamite near the line, with good hands and much better vision than Dobson (who seemed to pass by numbers to me). <br/> <br/> We could play Barrett at 13, 7 or 6 and he'd be great,...

Re: Do we owe Moran an apology...
<t>Having seen Moran play many times for London and Wigan, my view of him is that he can do a certain job - support and be an unpredictable runner - he was asked to do a different job to which he was ill-suited. We needed an organiser, and he was not it. A decent coach would have done what Noble did...

Re: Ins and Outs for 07
As transfer fees are not included in any deal, could we "sell" DV and Richards to a club, and pay them a transfer fee to take them off our hands?

Ins and Outs for 07
<t>I am finding it hard to keep track of what our squad will look like for next year. Assuming (hope against hope) that DV and Richards can be offloaded somewhere, as rumours suggest might be the case, then comparing our squad this year to next, ignoring loan activity within season, I make the list ...

Re: oliver wilkes! ???????...
I thought we signed him on a 2 year deal and then loaned him to Widnes (or was that Jordan James). The one place we have strength in depth now is the 2nd row, so I would be astonished were we to see him at Central Park again.
