It's a very long time since they had Poynton, Round, Fox etc. That was a great team.
They now struggle year after year and there seems no end to it.
See Jordan Tansey has gone to Hudds from Wakey.
Perhaps they had to unload before they could improve their squad.

Come on CPWigan, there's me thinking it was your New Year Resolution not to mention "Waneball".
Mind you if it was you've done well getting into March.

Re: Bob Beswick
Don't see it with Beswick at all.
I'd prefer Waney to rotate his halves between 6,7 & 9 anyway. We have Powell, Smith and Williams and it would have been even better if we had Hampshire but that's not to be.

<t>Tierney has been doing well.<br/> He took some fierce knocks in the Salford game as they targeted him. A repeat dose from HullFC and no wonder he's injured.<br/> Sarge in at full back until Tierney is fit then back to centre. I think it's too soon to have Gildart doing a massive number of games t...

Re: Dan Sarginson to Oz ?
Like the bloke, think he's a good player.
This has been telegraphed for some time, mostly by him.
It does appear to have legs as Waney has switched him from centre to full back thus giving Gildart the opportunity of a lifetime.

We might play better if we got some of our injured players back, that's might just might.

What time did he bring him on and what was the change?
Was it Gildart to centre and Sarge to fb?
