Re: Chris Kendall
I wondered about the double movement at the time but assumed they were thinking about momentum. Saints' first try had an outrageous forward pass from Welsby but I'm nor sure I've seen a match recently with so much spite and malice. I'm guessing it was the cup semi-final that generated it but it was ...

Re: Tonight's Match/Wigan squad for Salford
A thoroughly professional performance - maybe the most professional of the season. Plaudits to French for not making a meal of that 'challenge' and don't think the refereeing was any worse than most other nights. Agree about sorting out the legs over the horizontal problem. As it stands, Kendall had...

Re: Tonight's Game/Wigan squad for Catalans
You kind of give up.
Sam T (who I like a whole lot) gets a £250 fine! and Kaide Ellies gets a 1- match ban for something that I can't even recall..
It's just a farce.

Re: Tonight's Game/Wigan squad for Catalans
Startlingly good performance, particularly after last week. Best I've seen French in the halves and maybe Byrne should get a busted nose every week if he is going to play like that. Hard to argue with French as MOM but Miski's performance in defence and attack swung it for me. Thought he was outstan...

Re: Tonight's Match - Wigan squad for Hull FC
On the question of defence - Field (allowing for the odd mistake which all FB's make) is much more use at FB than he is defending in the halves. Defensively, French, now that he's much stronger this season is a very useful defender on the wing and OK at FB. Neither seems to play to their full potent...

Re: Tonight's Match - Wigan squad for Hull FC
Well, we did play most of a season with Farrell and Isa at centre, It wasn't perfect but as an emergency, it worked, so, maybe the basics of centre play is something can be picked up more quickly than is assumed. Often, in games, centres move to the wing and vice-versa when there are injuries. I don...

Re: Havard ruled out for eight weeks
I'm certainly no expert but a while ago when Liverpool FC had a spate of hamstring and groin injuries, they traced it back to the surfaces that training took place on. Things have moved on since then and my case is nothing like a professional player but the only hamstring and groin problems I had wa...

Re: Challenge Cup 2023
If I was being unkind, I'd say that Zak Hardaker put more effort into that game than in his whole time with us!
Still glad that the horrible Mikey Lewis missed out - he was up to his usual tricks for most of yesterday. Shame, when there's some obvious talent hidden by all his shithousery.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR
I don't care about HKR, except to hope that the horrible play-actor Lewis doesn't win the Cup. It would help us considerably to have a massive win and that's all that really matters.
