A point gained no doubt.
Losing 2 players in the first 10 minutes was unfortunate. And there is no doubt that Hudds were well up for this. They played well.
So we were lucky to get a point, and even luckier that Salford did us a favour.

Re: Wigan v Wire
<t>At a charity ball last year, my partner bid for and won a corporate night at Warrington. We were advised to chose our match when the fixtures came out, and not surprisingly found ourselves at last night's game. Hosted by sponsors and supporters of the Wire.<br/> <br/> Two things stand out. First,...

Re: Wigan v Wire
<t>It's the worst start to a season for a while for the Wire. But, let's not forget, they turned over Brisbane. So they can certainly raise their game when they really want to.<br/> <br/> And I suspect for this one they will really want to.<br/> <br/> There are good reasons to think either side coul...

Re: Wigan v Leigh
<t>Oh dear,<br/> Those injuries have rather taken the gloss off a good evening.<br/> <br/> We were very good in dreadful conditions. It's not surprising that there were injuries, but losing our best attacking winger and then the other side too does not look good.<br/> <br/> Let's hope we're not in f...

Re: New Stadium
<t>By an accident of circumstances I was invited to the DW before Christmas. To watch the Latics v. Newcastle. The away side won 0-2.<br/> On the way home I asked my host if it was just me or was it a really boring game. It was a really boring game he assured me.<br/> <br/> Honestly there was more a...

Re: On off on off on again.
<t>It's interesting that the last team to beat us (friendlies excluded) was Widnes. But on that day we looked really wooden. Since then played 8 won 8, and a couple of those were seriously important games too.<br/> <br/> So all the doom and gloom which many felt last year for very good reason, seems...

Re: Referee for WCC
<t>And separately from the issues of the referee, I fail to understand the comments of MickW above.<br/> <br/> Why be so scathingly negative? In what way does that sell our game? In what way does it support it?<br/> <br/> If those who don't respect Rugby League see comments like that, you can hardly...

Re: Referee for WCC
<t>Historically Hicks wasn't my favourite, but actually I have grown in respect for him.<br/> <br/> We've won the last 3 matches he's refereed, and when I watch the recordings it's difficult to fault. Of course he's human and as the hedgehog said when it climbed off the yard brush "we all make mista...
