Re: Wigan squad for Sheffield

Listen, up to now domestically we've played no-one out of the bottom half ,we haven't played well in any game particularly and everyone thinks we're the best thing since sliced bread, I see no evidence up to now that tells me that jobs for the boys should justify 7 year contracts. 🤷 So we're not in...

Re: Rocky

As always, this forum has the answers! Thanks, I get the picture more clearly now. I've nothing against the lad, just didn't understand his career trajectory. I think I may have been influenced early on by a certain poster who lauded Rocky so much early in his career - that's why I used Messiah to d...

Rocky

Enigma or what? I remember when Rocky was the Messiah. The first time I saw him was in the 2013 Academy Grand Final. We conceded home advantage as the DW wasn't available. Rocky had been built up to be the next Edwards or Alex Murphy, but the star that day was George Williams. (I was also impressed ...

Re: Wakefield attendance

One stand down, three to go To be fair, they have the office block/hospitality boxes at one end and a newish all-standing stand at the other. Away fans get the worst of it on the undeveloped side, bit that's common to other Yorkshire clubs - Leeds being the prime example. (Leeds can't develop the We...

Craig Lingatd on IMG.

Some forthright and interesting comments by Craig Lingard on the response to IMG at Cas in this week's League Express. I can't post a link, but he's basically saying that Cas are gaming the system by putting money into meeting IMG "off-field" criteria rather than investing in the squad. Un...

Wakefield attendance

Wakey had 7,221 for their match v Bradford.

That's around 1,800 more than Huddersfield v Hull KR, where there'd be healthy away support, 1,150 more than Salford, and 937 less than Cats.

With the new stand, it looks like they're doing something right at Belle Vue.

Re: Salford Away - Round 5 - Info

You could say that resting 4 or 5 players v London last week was the ultimate compliment to Salford. Hope it's a good game and that the Red Devils have a good season - after Thursday, of course.

Cheers to Lancashire red for the info, and the friendly approach.
