Re: Wigan Warriors will have a big pack in 2020, says optimistic Ian Lenagan
I think that it is time for IL to make a statement to the Aussies about Hastings. Either JH is going nowhere but the DW for next season or this is what reigning MOS with this many years on his contract will cost. If the latter lets use the cash to improve the team.

Re: Wigan Warriors will have a big pack in 2020, says optimistic Ian Lenagan
A number of people are calling for at least one other big forward but I am still concerned about the balance in our backs. We have lots of wingers and only one real strike centre as well as uncertainty around our pivots. I think that for their own good several senior players should hang their boots ...

Re: Next season
We need to decide where Bevan French plays. He is no halfback, he doesn't want to play on the wing and we already have a very decent fullback. Perhaps we brought him over early to fatten him up on pies to solve our props problem.

Re: Sam Powell
Except that was exactly what was said when we signed him and he covered that position a few times when other players went off. Perhaps you will start ranting about man never flying next because that has already happened as well. I haven't watched every single Wigan game and cannot remember wh...

Re: Which Wigan Warriors players may be departing in the off-season?
Isa is the kind of player that every team needs. He can cover forwards and backs and has the kind of engine that makes up for him being a bit lightweight. I imagine that he would be one of the first on the squad list. If players are being moved on I imagine that it will be a winger or two and a coup...

Re: Sam Powell
Time to stick my head over the parapet. For me the change in Sam Powell has been one of the great plusses of this season. His solidity in defence and his improvement going forward has made him on of our stand out players this season. Having said that there is no way that he should have been playing ...

Re: Jackson Hastings ???
I would find it unbelievable to imagine us offering a contract to a player that they could tear up even before they had played. That would be criminal on the part of the club. That he could leave after one season may not be far fetched. Having said that the rumours about young Lachlan Lam seemed a b...

Re: Silverwood calls for honesty from Sky pundit Cummings
Easy solution for forward passes....... overhead camera....... the lines dont lie This one has been done to death. Would someone like to link the video explanation. At the moment the rule is that the ball must go backwards relative to player releasing rather than the ground. If you want it the othe...
