Re: Shaun Edwards
Oh no! Not Daryl Powell please! Miserable, moaning, dour face Yorkshire git [emoji33] Personally I thought we'd go for Brian McDermott, although that made me very unpopular on a few Facebook pages. Cunningham had virtually no experience as a coach (maybe a couple of years on the backroom staff if I...

Re: Shaun Edwards
Didn’t he have zero head coaching experience before being given the top job? I thought he would fail and he did. I don’t think we’d get a top NRL coach on the cheap either and I think if we want a top coach it will cost. The alternative is enticing anotherSL coach to come here and I can’t say any o...

Re: Recruitment... why did we get Hankinson?
if i were to take a more constrcutive look at it - i think teams like Leeds/St Helens/Wire have concentrated on getting a very good 17 throwing some star players. Wigan seem to have taken the tact of having a good overall squad full of utility players that can cover many roles. I don’t think we hav...

Re: Shaun Edwards
I agree, Edwards was a hero of mine when I was a lad (as he was for many others), but if he walks out on his commitment that'll all change. I wonder if that's why he's quoted as saying if Lam did well then he'd step aside? He might be hoping Lam wins the GF so he has an excuse. But like you say, mig...

Re: Recruitment... why did we get Hankinson?
I'm hoping Lam switches it up against London and pays Hankinson at right centre and moves Gildart to the left. Not holding out much hope though.

Re: Wigan vs roosters
We got torn apart on our right edge. It's no coincidence that we have moved Gilly and Farrell from left to right to accommodate Greenwood and Sarge. While their attack is passable they are not used to defending that side of the field and need to alter their favoured leading shoulder in the tackle. ...

Re: Wigan vs roosters
Absolute joke. Gildart and Davies should hang their heads in shame for that performance. Every try down their wing. As for Lam, where is this free-flowing attacking rugby he promised? No idea in attack, no one running onto Williams's passes and kicks, 4 forwards on the bench so no one who could chan...

Re: Liam Watts
Lam did mention wanting another forward but I can't see Cas letting him go. They supposedly spent big money on him and have just named him No 8. Would be a brilliant signing if we did pull it off though. Nothing to do with Luke Gale being injured and Cas being close to the Cap and needing space? :i...
