Over the 2 games I think he’s just about been our best prop. He looks like he’s had a great pre season and in that form, he can push for a place in the first 17.

Re: Match Preview: Wakefield (Pre-Season)

Still unbeaten in pre season :D

Wakefield looked strong. We looked rusty and error prone but like Ted says, that’s what the games are there for. Walters a big positive for us.

Re: Being a Warrior Part 2

Another great watch. The squad seem really close and they all look in excellent shape. It looks an environment where they’re all pushing each other to get better.

And on a side note plenty more tickets look to have been shifted in the last 24 hours. There can’t be more than 600 or 700 tickets left in the whole stadium.

Re: Penrith match

My biggest worry with this game is the amount of people that think the south stand is unreserved. I've spoken to friends who bought separate tickets and there's quite a few on Facebook who still think they can sit anywhere. I know it's definitely set seats but I think there could be problems when p...

Re: MATT PEET intends to build his Wigan team around leading player

Music to my ears! I recently looked at our list of Trophy wins under IL, which is better than most teams. One thing that stood out was that our wins have tended to be spread out with gaps between them, whereas Saints have had a period of dominance, now coming to an end. Leeds had similar spells in ...

Re: Liam Byrne

I hope he takes huge confidence from that spell of form before his injury. He was absolutely fantastic and played with a real aggressive and relentless edge. If he can play at that level more consistently, there is no reason why he can’t go on to an England regular (presuming he wants that, rather t...

Re: Opening fixtures 2024

Must admit it threw me the Leigh game being mentioned Makes me think the WCC isn’t quite sealed yet but hopefully they get it over the line. I’m stumped as to why Leigh at home wasn’t the first game for us. We’ve not had a home opener for ages, it’s a loop fixture opponent, it’s League Champions vs...

Re: Any more to come?

Not seen any mention of the injury Havard picked up in the GF? Hamstring again?? I’ve been wondering myself how serious that is and if it’ll impact on his pre season/the start of the season. Fingers crossed it doesn’t. I also noticed Junior Nsemba posting that he’s had an op. Looked to be on his kn...

Re: Shorrocks leaves the club

The perils of being seen as a "utility player" - reminds me of Lee Gilmour. It's a shame that we didn't try harder to keep him - a real 100% player who will be missed. Hope we don't regret it when injuries come (as they are bound to do) next season. Wish him well at Salford. I think the d...
