Re: Positives from today?
Just realised I missed off Manfredi. He's doing O.K. but is he ready to play against Leeds or do we put Sarginson back on the wing and Gelling at centre? I suppose as we have two games against them in quick succession, we could try both.

Positives from today?
<t>I was hoping that several players would take the opportunity to make a big impression today against Hunslet but several missed their chance. I realise that the game was won early on and that players lost their focus in the second half but some of them should have been desperate to put in a good p...

Re: Warriors Name Squad to face Hull KR
<t>I'd like to see George williams get some game time this weekend. Waney has hinted that he may consider moving Matty Smith to hooker for a spell and this means that George could play scrum half. George is now too good to be playing in the 19's and needs to get some first team experience. Part of a...

Re: Charnley needs to improve!
<t>If it was a choice of keeping Josh and losing Manfredi today I would not hesitate in keeping Josh. If Josh does leave then of course Manfredi may well develop into his long term replacement. However, if Josh wants to stay and plays at his best I don't see why we wouldn't keep him at Wigan for man...

Re: Charnley needs to improve!
<t>Pleased as I am to see the promise shown by many of our younger players lets not too carried away. Josh was superb last year (and could get better still). Manfredi is doing well but may never be as good as Josh was last year. We should be doing everything we can to keep Josh at Wigan rather than ...

Can this year's squad become as good as last year's?
<t>I wasn't surprised by today's result but did see some promising signs. I think that last season's Grand Final winning team would have given the Roosters a better game but would have still been beaten. However, I'm now interested to see if people think that this year's squad has the potential to m...

Very young inexperienced squad
<t>I've just been reading the new warriors official handbook which I always really enjoy and, once I'd overcome my surprise that we'd signed a new winger called Josh Charley, it really struck me just how young our squad is this year. I think that most of the squad will show large improvements over t...

suggestions for left wing/centre partnership?
<t>I'm really looking forward to the Huddersfield game on Friday and just wondered what people's opinions are on our left wing. I've not seen Sarginson play at centre and my choice would be Thornley at centre with Burgess on the wing. I know that he's inexperienced but Burgess seems to have done so ...

Re: Jordan James
<t>Good luck to Jordan but you can't say that some of us didn't see the possibility of being short of props weeks ago. Why didn't the club have more options? The fact that Jordan has been training with the club during the off season (did he go to the USA?) makes sense but he was ready to take up ano...

Re: Jordan James
Hope this rumour isn't true. Jordan is a wholehearted player but no longer good enough for the top flight. Such a decision would reflect poor planning on our part. If we've let young Greenwood go to London on lone we must feel that we have sufficient cover at prop. I'm still to be convinced.
