Re: 6th slipping away.

I think it's gone, I would expect us to have to win every match to even qualify for the 6 and it may be better to end the season as early as possible and get everybody rested and fit for next year. If we did qualify then how about bring our imports over for the play offs :D

Oh BTW, silliest rule which seems to have been introduced tbhis year is the one when your dragging an attacker over the touchline and if his team mate places his hands on the tackle to help him, the tackling team are penalised if they continue to drag the attacker over the touchline.

<t>I have done a modest amount of refereeing and beforehand thought I could spot forward passes easily. I reached the conclusion very quickly that it is almost impossible to do so from the referees position. The people who can and should be spotting them are linesmen.<br/> <br/> Scrums should be ret...

<r>Hey Pie Eater Kirkpatrick and equally important his linesmen had awful games whatsmore he's incredibly demeaning to players who try to question his judgement.<br/> <br/> Doug I think it was Daunt rushed out of the line on the last tackle and patted the Hull pass down. Instead of awarding either a...

The failure to award Hull a scrum or penalty from a blatant offside knock on was crucial IMO. Kirkpatrick was woeful and even makes Ganson look passable :D

Re: Who will come up from ...

It is really about the GF so league position is not as important as it seems. Castleford do seem vulnerable v Hull KR yet oddly Whitehaven I believe struggle similarly v Cas. As somebody said though, none will be able to muster a SL standard team.

Re: Landslides

<t>A gulf still exists in teams due to insufficient players of SL standard. UTC will be better served because they should enjoy a good home advantage and do have a huge pool of improving French players who will receive excellent coaching from the likes of John Monie at national level. They have recr...

Re: Half a million £

<r>Ian <E>:D</E> Not quite sure how to say this and do not take offence but your talking bollocks. Firstly your salary figures are incorrect. As an example Hock is £48,000 PA, how that salary is paid out I nor anybody but a few people know.<br/> <br/> My point is very simple and you have missed it ...

:D Must confess to taking McClorum for granted. Never seen anything less from the youngster. He had some speed Yates the Widnes fullback.
