Re: Top 50 players in Super League: 50-41
Don't see why Coote should be above Makinson (or, indeed, ZH, as they are comparable). Connor has done nothing on recent form (although he is talented), and Maloney and Folau, have they really done it at SL level? French is being flattered a bit.

Neither would I. It's the most bone-headed idea imaginable.
My only consolation is that it will never happen.,

I don't disagree with anything in your post, Dave, but in practice I doubt govts, especially ours, will be so patient.

I've re-watched a few Dean Bell games in the last few days, and it reminded me of what I always thought of him; if you ran at him with the ball, you were a bloody good player if you got past him, not many did.

Re: Watersplash final on BBC2
Also, and I may have mentioned this before, is it just me who gets irritated by the BBC continually wheeling out th so-called Watersplash" Final? Focussing on a mishap like that, it makes our sport out to be a bloody joke. Ask any sports fan what they know about rugby league, and they might wel...

And not only; how long has he been doing this? And he doesn't even seem to understand the rules of the game half the time.

Re: Good Friday
I've watched a lot of archive games lately, as I'm sure many of us have, and never ceases to anaze how he's always been like that, for decades! The best moments are when opposing teams recover and re-take the lead, and then his hopes soar like an eagle, only to be cruelly dashed when Wigan go on to ...
