Can this year's squad become as good as last year's?
<t>I wasn't surprised by today's result but did see some promising signs. I think that last season's Grand Final winning team would have given the Roosters a better game but would have still been beaten. However, I'm now interested to see if people think that this year's squad has the potential to m...

Very young inexperienced squad
<t>I've just been reading the new warriors official handbook which I always really enjoy and, once I'd overcome my surprise that we'd signed a new winger called Josh Charley, it really struck me just how young our squad is this year. I think that most of the squad will show large improvements over t...

suggestions for left wing/centre partnership?
<t>I'm really looking forward to the Huddersfield game on Friday and just wondered what people's opinions are on our left wing. I've not seen Sarginson play at centre and my choice would be Thornley at centre with Burgess on the wing. I know that he's inexperienced but Burgess seems to have done so ...

Re: Jordan James
<t>Good luck to Jordan but you can't say that some of us didn't see the possibility of being short of props weeks ago. Why didn't the club have more options? The fact that Jordan has been training with the club during the off season (did he go to the USA?) makes sense but he was ready to take up ano...

Re: Jordan James
Hope this rumour isn't true. Jordan is a wholehearted player but no longer good enough for the top flight. Such a decision would reflect poor planning on our part. If we've let young Greenwood go to London on lone we must feel that we have sufficient cover at prop. I'm still to be convinced.

How were the young props against Leigh?
<t>It seems that the team made a really promising start to the season against Leigh and thanks CP for your updates on the website. It's always exciting when new signings / young players show potential. Has anybody any thoughts on how our young props played against Leigh? Did any of them look like th...

Re: Blake Green to Storm
<t>Can't believe that this is true but Jamie Soward would do a great job for our team. We have some excellent youngsters coming through but they won't be ready to run the team every week by the end of this season. Learning from a top class stand off (Green or Soward)for two years would be much more ...

Re: Warriors Prepare for Florida Trip
<t>If and when someone finds out which players are going to Florida could you please let us know? It would be very interesting for example to know if Lauaki and Andy Powell are going. From what I've read today Waney seems to be happy with his squad and Greg Burke fancies playing second row. I still ...

Who do you think is our third choice hooker?
<t>I was wondering what we'd do if either or both of Micky Mac and Logan Tomkins were injured this coming season. I'd like to know what options the rest of you feel that we have e.g. could Sam Powell or perhaps George Williams play hooker? Is there another youngster that I don't know about (I think ...

Do we need another prop for next season?
<t>I feel that to get through a season successfully any top team needs six experienced props (at least a full season at the top level)with another two promising youngsters to help out/gain experience when required. Last season we used Mossop, Luaki, Flower, Dudson, Crosby, Taylor as our main props. ...
