Re: Matty Peet shares praise for Morgan Smithies as he prepares to make landmark for the club
You’re not comparing like for like for me - take any of Faz, Clarke or Lockers at the beginning of their careers and compare that to Smithes as he is now. Faz converted from 2nd row and whilst he had good hands and great footwork was arguably the greatest natural fit for our Wigan ball playing loose...

Don’t be surprised if the stadium stays with Latics.
If they get it right with the football and look to sell at some point in the future then it will be worth a lot more than the warriors equity especially with the football having its own stadium.

Re: Cade Cust
If cust plays I feel that it should be at 6 with Powell restored to 9 and french on the wing the only change I would make is forber to the bench and Mago out French on the wing is a waste IMO At the moment like i say i dont feel Cust has done enough to be in the 17 at all - and thats no disrespect ...

Re: Brenko Lee
Agree it’s concerning - we’ve been hit with a few injury savaged signing’s recently and can’t afford to be carrying anyone in a salary capped sportjosie andrews wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 4:15 pm 87 NRL appearances in ten years!! I hope it’s a bloody wind up!!

Re: Cade Cust
He’s showed glimpses of what he can do at 9 on those few occasions he’s played there which some people then harp on about how Powell should be doing that - begs the question if he’s a better 9 is he sacrificing himself for the team as we’re short of halves? Be interesting if Pete trials him at 9 wit...

Each to their own I guess - for me he does he just needs another good half alongside him to share the burden.

Re: Harry smith
Yes I agree that opening statement is utter rubbish.
We need a stand off to partner Harry and to share the load a little. Also struggling a little in the pack with injuries isn’t helping as has been discussed a lot recently.

Re: Injury cover
Likewise for me - the pack is decimated with injuries but if we can hang in there and get a few bodies back without any further injuries over the next month think we can really build some momentum into the playoffs. Nsemba is looking like he can be a real player in the future and along with Hill the...

Re: Time to reassess Adrian Lam?
Personally I feel it was a little harsh on Lam. Covid floored all the finances (understandable) and he didn’t quite get the backing he would have wanted. Assistant coach to Australia and flying at Leigh, he’s doing pretty good…
