Re: Cleary
I pretty sure this won't happen given he's signed a new deal but why would the fee be beyond us? Our new owner could probably afford to by Penrith never mind Cleary if he felt like it.

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
Re the last second no try. At the end of the BBC review after the game you get the clearest view that Field and Miski get their hands under the ball and keep it up. The ref had the bast view in this instance from anywhere and he gave it no try. Nothing controversial except that it was impossible to...

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
A truly magnificent performance from the team. Every player who wore the Cherry and White should be proud of the way they turned up and faced down what Penrith threw at us. We may be missing a few more in the pack for our next game though. Brutal. As ever, when Wigan have won a big game all opposin...

Re: Wigan vs Penrith
Just got back celebratory beer in hand. What a fantastic result. I thought Penrith were going to come out in the 2nd half and turn it on but the lads stuck with it and despite being under the cosh were able to post some points themselves. I didn’t realise we had VAR in RL which give the video ref pe...

Re: If a Wigan player gets banned for the WCC!
Then we appeal on the basis that the offence was not committed in a WCC or International match. The precedent was set in 1994 when we played the Broncos in Brisbane. When we arrived it was discovered that Andrew Gee would not be playing as he was mid way through an eight match ban. However the Bron...

Re: Thompson
The cas players knees and head touched the ground at the same time. If his legs had been lifted above horizontal, they certainly weren't when he went down. He dived toward the ground with his head, and that was what the ref mentioned on the audio as mitigation. So if the Cas coaches want to know wh...

Re: Wigan squad for Castleford (R1)
Points on the board, but an expensive knight potentially losing Thompson,Leeming,Smith for next week and Field looked a bit iffy at the end. Kicking is better than this time last year. It would have been criminal to let him leave. Not a chance in hell they will ban Smith. If it was a regular round,...

Well that seems a little premature.
