Agree 100%. It's surprising how much information is held in the old threads. Even if it is only used to settle an argument in a pub about some minor trivia it is well worth keeping the archive.Mike posted:
I don't plan to delete any of the old threads ever. What ever you say, it will remain part of the site, linked to the time you said it (and maybe to other content if you linked it by ticking the boxes) for fans to read in 100s of years time...
IMO this is the purpose of 'tinternet
Given the site has a search function the information can can be found as well (unlike on rlfans where search is disabled from the forums).
